Are you holding out on your sweetie?
Last night, in my newly less-leaky shower, R. expressed that he was disappointed I was holding out on him - using Bath and Body Works PINEAPPLE shower gel while he was relegated to Strawberry Shortcake. A short explanation later, he realized that the Pineapple he was jealous of was actually shampoo. I’m sure one *could* use it for shower gel, but I’m enjoying it quite well as shampoo. It leaves my hair clean but not stripped, so I can go without conditioner on a ponytail day or the weekend, and use a nice conditioner for the days I need to leave my hair down. I love the fresh pineapple scent - it’s not candy like at all. But it doesn’t leave much scent in my hair, so recently I’ve been shopping for products that will, and hope to have a series on that just as soon as my DSL gets back up at home.
So - do you have your ’secret stash’ in a linen closet or other hiding place, where you keep the good stuff, and let your roommate, significant other, or kids use the cheap stuff? With roommates, at least, I can totally understand. I had a roommate once who would use ANYTHING of mine, even if I asked her not to, unless it was kept under lock and key.
Oh, and the Strawberry Shortcake? it’s finally finished. We started up a new bottle of…Bath and Body Works Pink Grapefruit. A classic!
