Cologne of the Day: Fresh Patchouli Pure
Patchouli is just one of those “love it or hate it” scents. I guess most of the world hated this one because it appears to be discontinued although decants are still available at places like ThePerfumedCourt and DecantPerfume. The notes include:
top notes of ginger, bergamot and orange; heart notes of patchouli, cinnamon, and pimento berry; and base notes of vanilla, amber, tonka and musk. You might guess from looking at the notes that this fragrance is well suited for the winter months, it reminds me very much of a candle my mother would burn during the holidays when we were expecting company. I think it’s really not such a bad little scent on the right person, applied sparingly. For pete’s sake, don’t splash yourself with this.
I got a LOT of cinnamon when I wore my sample, and no comments asking who smelled like a hippie. If you’re a patchouli freak, it’s one of the more refined compositions I’ve tried. For easier shopping try Fresh’s new Cannabis Santal. That one’s heavier on the wood notes.

I am wearing theperfume right now and majority of the girls in my office want to know where to get it. Initially the perfume kind of throws me off but then it settles to this really rich & yummy fragrance.. It is something that you would smell in a wine bar in Paris. It comes across very french, but hey that is my opinion.
