Perfume of the Day: Domenico Caraceni 1913
Wow. This cologne bowled me over from start to finish. Citrusy, smoky, and finishing with lovely cypress/piney cleanness contrasted with the earthiness from frankincense. Not surprisingly, Caraceni is a house that specializes in custom tailored suits, and this fragrance is similarly defined. Luxurious, well balanced, and perfect for a multitude of situations. I’d definitely consider this Full Bottle Worthy for any man in my life. My one gripe is that it’s not particularly strong/long lasting, but to err on the side of sublety is forgiveable.
Notes: Petitgrain, styrax, geranium bourbon, neroli bigarade, rose, tobacco, cypress, frankincense.
