Perfume of the Day: Fragonard Vanille
I know you regular readers can probably anticipate my reaction to almost anything vanilla: I LOVE IT. Well, guess what? I love this too - and vanilla is only the first reason. It’s got several great notes that chime in from time to time: amber, bergamot, sandalwood and patchouli. I’m hot and cold on patchouli, but the other three notes are more of my favorites. It’s actually kind of a less musky, more subtle version of the Sexiest Musk perfume from a few weeks back. At $30-45 for 100ml, really, that’s not bad. I think this would be really great if one were feeling blue - it’s warm, enveloping, and slightly medicinal, in a good way.
I’m definitely thinking of adding this to my regular rotation. I found several places that offer the collection, including Provence Shop.
