Perfume of the Day: Perfect Veil - Creative Scentualization
In certain circles, wearing noticeable perfume is almost gauche. However, it’s quite a feat to be naturally odorless, and even more so to have a naturally pleasant scent (our lovers and babies, of course, are an obvious exception). I think that the post-post modern perfume is the ‘your skin but better scent’. Attempted in the 80’s (Bonne Belle Skin Musk), refined in the 90’s (Clean) and now, still going strong thanks to Perfect Veil. Whereas Clean (by D’lish) gives an ‘out of the shower’ skin smell, this is less sterile and more approachable. It’s very minimalist and should appeal to a wide range. It isn’t particularly complex, though, and you may feel the need to re-apply once or twice during the day. Available at luckyscent.

Maybe the skin of a fallen angel, looking for a little trouble? Warm, soft, subtle and extremely sexy, this very wearable fragrance is wonderful on its own and perfect for layering under other scents, as well, to make them warmer and more enduring. A staple on many Hollywood vanities.
