Perfume of the Day: Rosine Rose d’Ete
Rose d’Ete smells to my nose like White Linen spiked with, well, Rose. It’s not overly sweet but there are sweet characteristics. It also reminds me of DKNY Be Delicious so I’m predisposed, I guess, to dislike it. It also reminds me of some cheap bath beads that I got in a Secret Santa swap when I was about 8 (those were also Rose). I perhaps caught a hint of the basenotes (ambrette) but all in all this didn’t reveal anything particularly interesting to me.
Top: apple, galbanum, bergamot
Heart: yellow rose, linden blossom, mimosa, lotus blossom
Base: ambrette seed, musk
