Perfume of the Day: Yves Rocher Iris Noir
I’m used to Yves Rocher being relatively inexpensive, but Iris Noir retails at a surprising $50, although it’s marked down online to $27.99. That said, it’s a lovely, wearable floral with a nice woody drydown. The iris is not the powdery, clean iris I was expecting but a heavier, spicier iris with notes of citrus/bergamot. I love the bottle - reminds me of Serge Lutens a bit!

I find this to be thick and sweet…not unpleasant, necessarily, but kind of a gourmand iris, less “noir” and more “edible.”
If you enjoy it, the bottle at sale price is really a good deal.
