Perfumed Decor!
As I may have mentioned, I’m closing on a house in a few weeks. It’s got a lot of architectural detail but needs a lot of “personalizing” and COLOR to make it a home. I just scored an antique vanity and I’m already scheming how best to display my perfume and makeup collections. One thing I found that would go perfectly in a girly boudoir/dressing room: Vintage Perfume ads. I especially like this one from Bourjois’ Evening in Paris. My house was built in 1926 and it’s basically unchanged since then, so a perfume popular around the time of World War II would be fitting, don’t you think? I found this poster and many more here.
In a few days, I’ll be posting an extra special CONTEST to help me get even more ready to move. A hint: start dusting off your perfumed makeup trays and lens filters! And the prizes will be extra fun!
