Summer Scents - Stella McCartney Stella
For some strange reason, the past few days I’ve found myself reaching for Stella. Although the predominant amber notes in this perfume might make it seem more appropriate for fall or winter, the lovely rose and peony floral is very ‘now’ for me. Granted, it takes a light touch - more like a dusting of perfume than a full on spritz. But the amber, I think, is what gives it staying power. Roses, naturally, are one of summer’s loveliest flowers, and without the rose we might have no perfume industry at all…so if you’re at a loss for what perfume to wear when summer heats up, try rethinking one of your fall or winter favorites!
