Where the boys are: cologne, anti-perspirant and even…body spray?!
When I met R., my lovely partner, he was already quite set in his ways when it came to personal care, shaving, and what-not. His routine is actually quite streamlined, but effective - he makes sure never to run out of St. Ives Apricot Scrub, Aussie Mega Shampoo, and Gilette Mach 3 razorblades. But with my prompting, he’s also become quite fond of fragrance. It doesn’t hurt that I make colognes and perfumes, and now cologne or scent has been added to the routine. I’ve also given him several bottles of cologne as gifts - everything from Chanel Egoiste to Lucky for Him. He’s helped me review a lot of fragrances of late, and I’ll be sharing his thoughts in the upcoming days. So even if your guy seems reluctant to trying cologne or other fragranced products, another man’s opinion just might help change his mind!
